Facelift & Neck Lift in Troy, Michigan

A facelift and neck lift tighten sagging skin and the deeper support tissues of the face to soften jowls, deep folds, and a loose neckline, restoring a naturally youthful lower face.

As we age, skin laxity, volume loss, and gravity create jowls along the jawline and loose banding in the neck. A modern facelift repositions the deeper support layer of the face (the SMAS) rather than simply pulling the skin tight. That is what produces a natural, rested result instead of an overdone look.

A neck lift is often done together with a facelift so the jawline and neck are treated as one continuous contour. During your consultation, Dr. Qasawa reviews your anatomy to decide whether a full facelift, a mini facelift, or a combined face and neck approach fits your goals and the recovery you have in mind.

Good to Know

Facial Rejuvenation questions

What is the best age for a facelift?

There is no single right age. Most facelift patients are in their 40s to 60s, but candidacy comes down to skin laxity, health, and goals rather than a number. Dr. Qasawa assesses each patient individually during consultation.

How long does facelift recovery take?

Most patients feel comfortable returning to light activities in about two weeks, with bruising and swelling continuing to settle over several weeks. The final result comes through as the tissues fully relax over the following months.

Is eyelid surgery covered by insurance?

Upper eyelid surgery may be partially covered when excess skin blocks your vision and this is documented with a visual-field test. Purely cosmetic eyelid surgery is not covered. Our team can help you understand your options.

How long does Botox last?

Botox and Dysport results usually last three to four months. With regular treatment, many patients find the results last a little longer over time as the treated muscles relax.
