Who writes and reviews our content

Procedure and education pages are prepared for the practice and reviewed by Dr. Ryan Qasawa, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. Medical review means the surgeon has checked the content for clinical accuracy and that it reflects how care is actually delivered at our practice.

How we write

• We aim for plain language over jargon, and we explain clinical terms when we use them.
• We describe procedures in general terms. What is right for you is decided in consultation.
• We do not overstate results. Outcomes vary from patient to patient.

Sources

Where we reference general medical information, we rely on the surgeon's clinical expertise and reputable professional sources, such as guidance from recognized plastic surgery societies. When we cite a specific external source, we link to it.

Keeping content current

We review key pages periodically and after any meaningful change in technique or guidance. Each reviewed page shows a "last updated" or "last reviewed" date so you know how recent it is.

Corrections

If you spot something that seems inaccurate or out of date, we want to know. Please reach out through our contact page and we will review it.

Advertising and honesty

This is the website of a surgical practice, so it naturally promotes our services. Even so, we hold our educational content to a standard of accuracy and will not publish misleading claims, fake reviews, or before and after photos that misrepresent a result.
